Once you have completed and signed Membership Application and Subscriber Agreement, as well as other documents identified below, are received by our office, we will immediately start your membership process and order your physical inspection.

Regarding your inspection: You will need locking doors, locking file cabinets, a shredder and no access to the reports by people other than those authorized.

For subscribers working from home, you can sign-up as a Pass/Fail client in order to avoid the cost of the physical inspection but all other requirements hold true.

Here's a helpful checklist to expedite your subscription:

Required Documents

For All Subscribers:

  1. Completed and signed Membership Application
  2. Signed Subscriber Agreement
  3. Physical Inspection by Third Party (APSCREEN will arrange this for you)
  4. Copy of your current business license

For Commercial Property Management Companies:

  1. Blank copy of your Management Agreement with your clients.

For Apartment Management Companies and Real Estate Agents Operating As Property Manager:

  1. Three current or prospective SIGNED Rental Applications, and a Blank Rental Application
  2. A Current list of all projects under contract including: Project or Complex Name, Physical Address, Contact Person Name & Phone Number
  3. Blank copy of your Management Agreement form with your clients.

For Individual Landlords and/or Property Owners and/or Individual Landlords or Property Owners Operating Under a Business Name:

  1. Copy of Driver's License or other Government issued Identification Document
  2. List of Properties Owned by Address and Assessor's Parcel Number
  3. If applicable, Copy of Business License, Corporate Articles, or other Clerk-Stamped Formation documents, such as Fictitious Business Name, Partnership Agreement, etc.

For Independent Real Estate Agents contracted with Real Estate or Management Firm Using Reports for Tenant Screening Purposes:

  1. Copy of Real Estate Salesperson or Broker's License
  2. Name, Address, Telephone number of Firm contracted with
