US Accountability Office Improves E-Verify

A new report from the US GAO claims the USCIS bureau has improved the accuracy and efficiency of the E-verify electronic employment eligibility verification system that is used when checking legal eligibility for workers.

The number of databases consulted to determine the legal status of a new hire has increased and new quality control procedures have been devised to double check information.
